About SoccerGirls USA
What are we doing here?
This site collects results from
91-92 girls matches and ranks teams based on known game results. The site includes Team Contact information, league and tournament results and rankings derived from local experts and modified by a dedicated researcher.
How do you rank teams?
Rankings are derived from league standings, tournament results, and head-to-head match-ups. Precedent and history
are considered, so previous rankings are not always overridden by a single result. These rankings are subjective and use NationalSoccerRanking.com rankings as a starting
point where results are sparse, GotSoccer.com to check tournament results, and personal research to track down
every score I can find.
Why?
Fair
bracketing is essential to a positive youth soccer experience. It's my hope that familiarity with team strengths will improve youth soccer through more competitive scheduling.
Who's doing this?
A youth soccer coach and referee with three kids who love soccer. My personal knowledge of teams diminishes in direct proportion to their distance from St. Louis, however, I'm a dedicated analyst and conduct extensive Internet research.
Do you want feedback?
Yes! Comments both supportive and contrary are essential to making this site useful and interesting to others. If the site isn't relevant, credible, and visited, what's the point?
